- Aangan Resort spreads across 12 acres (5,23,000 sq. ft.) of landscaped lawns just outside Ranchi city, Jharkhand — close enough for a quick drive, far enough for real quiet. We are easy to reach by road and our team shares a live location on WhatsApp when you book.
- What types of rooms and cottages are available?
- Four distinct stays: The Boxwood Cabin (bamboo-style cottage), The Alpine Nooks (container nooks), The Alpine Grand (premium container suite with private lawn) and The Lake Front (conventional concrete room). Every category includes a king bed, breakfast and room service.
- What are the room tariffs at Aangan Resort?
- Tariffs start at ₹2,499/night for The Lake Front, ₹2,999 for Alpine Nooks, ₹3,499 for The Boxwood Cabin and ₹4,999 for The Alpine Grand. Seasonal and member rates apply — direct bookings always get the best rate.
- Is breakfast included in the room price?
- Yes — a complimentary breakfast is included with every stay, served at Anovia Restaurant. Room service is also available through the day.
- Can we host a destination wedding at Aangan Resort?
- Absolutely. Narayan Banquet & Marriage Hall plus our open lawns host weddings of every faith and tradition — haldi, mehendi, sangeet, the pheras and the reception — with decor, catering and guest rooms on one campus.
- What is the capacity of the banquet hall and lawns?
- Narayan Banquet Hall hosts up to 500 guests indoors, Virasat Lawn scales to 1,000 and the flagship Raj Darbar Lawn — Ranchi's largest wedding lawn — holds up to 20,000 guests. Tell us your date and guest count and we will propose the right layout.
- Is Anovia Restaurant open to guests who are not staying?
- Yes — Anovia welcomes walk-in diners, families and groups even without a room booking. Live tandoor counters, thalis and mocktails are served daily. Reserving a table on WhatsApp takes a minute.
- Do you offer day-outing or picnic packages?
- Yes — day packages combine lunch at Anovia, access to the Game Zone, cricket turf, badminton and the lawns. Ideal for school picnics, office outings and family days out.
- What activities are available inside the resort?
- Cricket turf, badminton, a children's Game Zone, indoor play area, river trekking and off-roading nearby, plus bonfire and barbecue evenings for groups.
- Which tourist attractions are near the resort?
- We are a natural basecamp for Ranchi's waterfalls and valleys — Hundru, Jonha, Dassam and Sita Falls, Patratu Valley, Betla and more, all within easy day-trip distance.
- What are the check-in and check-out timings?
- Check-in is 12:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged subject to availability — just ask on call or WhatsApp.
- Is the resort suitable for corporate events and offsites?
- Yes — Parliament Hall hosts conferences, seminars and dealer meets with AV support and Wi-Fi, and teams can mix work with turf games, day packages and evening bonfires.
- Which room is best for couples?
- The Boxwood Cabin and The Alpine Nooks are our most loved couple stays — private balconies, cozy interiors and total privacy. The Lake Front is the value pick steps from the lawns.
- Do rooms have balconies?
- The Boxwood Cabin, Alpine Nooks and Alpine Grand all have private balcony or lawn sit-outs. The Lake Front is a solid concrete room without a balcony, with the lawns and lake just steps away.
- Is an extra bed or child stay allowed?
- Yes — select rooms accommodate an extra mattress for a child at a nominal charge. Mention it in your enquiry and we will confirm the setup for your dates.
- What is included in the room tariff?
- Every tariff includes complimentary breakfast, room service, 24-hour hot water and garden access. Signature Members unlock further member-only rates on direct bookings.
- Can we have an outdoor lawn wedding?
- Yes — most couples combine the Narayan Banquet hall with our Raj Darbar (40,000 sq. ft.) and Virasat (15,000 sq. ft.) lawns for open-air pheras, receptions and sangeet nights under the sky.
- Do you provide decor and catering in-house?
- Yes — custom decor, catering from Anovia's kitchen and music arrangements are handled in-house, so you deal with one team instead of five vendors.
- Can our guests stay at the resort?
- Yes — rooms and cottages on campus host your closest family, and group rates apply for wedding blocks. Book early for peak dates.
- How do we check date availability?
- Send your date and guest count through the enquiry form or WhatsApp — the team responds within hours with availability and a custom quote.
- Can we host every wedding ritual — haldi, mehandi, sangeet, tilak, mayra and vidaai — at Aangan Resort?
- Yes. Every ritual gets its own setting on campus: haldi and mehandi on the sunlit lawns, sangeet on the Raj Darbar Lawn with full stage and sound, tilak and mayra inside the Narayan Banquet hall, and a flower-decked vidaai send-off at the porch.
- Do you arrange wedding decoration and catering in-house?
- Yes — themed decor (mandap, stage, florals, lighting) and catering by our in-house 9th Ground Catering team, with menu tasting sessions before the wedding. One team handles everything, so you never juggle vendors.
- Is there a dedicated wedding concierge?
- Every wedding at Aangan gets a dedicated concierge who manages guest check-ins, room allocations, function timings and on-the-day requests — a single point of contact for both families.
- Do you provide cab and pickup services for wedding guests?
- Yes — airport and railway-station pickups, shuttle cabs between partner hotels and the resort, and decorated cars for the couple, all run on one coordinated schedule.
- Can we host a bachelor party or a pre-wedding buffet dinner?
- Absolutely — private bonfire and barbecue evenings, the game zone booked exclusively, and multi-cuisine buffet dinners with live counters for 50 to 1,000+ guests.
- What does 'all solutions under one roof' actually include?
- Venue (banquet hall plus two lawns), guest rooms, every ritual setup, decor, catering, music, concierge and transport — twelve wedding services delivered by one in-house team on a single 12-acre campus in Ranchi.
- What are Anovia Restaurant's timings?
- Anovia takes dine-in orders daily from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Walk-ins are welcome; reservations are recommended on weekends.
- Are pure vegetarian options available?
- Yes — a full vegetarian spread from paneer tikkas to veg thalis, prepared with farm-fresh local ingredients. Jain preparations can be arranged on request.
- Do you host group lunches and kitty parties?
- Yes — combo offers and group packages make Anovia a favourite for kitty parties, birthday lunches and corporate luncheons, with private corners for groups.
